Hi I'm Evelyn

I was born in Chile, but raised in Norway. I love poeple. I'm grateful for the gospel. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm in my late 20's, No children yet. I love long walks. Music, cooking, church, family, friends. I work as a customer consultant, but I would like to work at the doctors office as a sekretary. Most of all, I want to start a family with my future husband who I'm marrying this summer. YEY!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in church, got baptized when I was 12. Became inactive during my teenage years. Stayed far away from church for a dozen years. Came back in a miraculous way after being skeptical for a while. I did alot of research in other beliefs, religions and theories. Believed mostly in science. Suddenly felt the urge to find a truth. The truth. Humbled myself in need of help during really hard times. Prayed alot, and all of the sudden, I knew I had found "home" when trying to go to church one time. Thankful for a familymember who showed me a great example of being loving and patient. Never pressuring me to go to church. Just supported me through all my wrong choices, showed me a good example of being righteous and never judged me. I learned what it really means to be lost and found without even knowing I was lost. I know my prayers were answered, and he still answers them! I know that the restoration of the church of Jesus Christ is true because I can feel it, and it makes me grow spiritually, mentally and emotionally in ways I never thought anything could do for me, for us. It's perfectly organized by the lord so that we can learn how to lead and prepare us for eternity as best as we possibly can, and I know it. The scriptures, the prophets and leaders helps and guides me/us. I simply know there is no other way to happiness than through the gospel, and I'm so grateful for knowing this. I write these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I'm responsible for arranging the cooking every sunday for the young single adults. It's important to spend time together, and to take care of each other. It's also a great opportunity to invite investigators to come dine with us and then have fun and be social after eating. I lead the lesson one sunday a month for the women in church. I learn so much about myself, families, the gospel, our heavenly father's and Christ love in the preparing of the lessons. It's amazing, and I'm so grateful to be able to participate! I have never experianced being so happy as I am now, after coming back to church during my late 20's.
