Hi I'm Kevin

I was born and grew up in Utah. I love sports, camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors I play the piano. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six children. I am an Eagle scout. In high school I played football, was on the wrestling team, and I was a track and field athlete. I love to read and play the piano. I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and swimming outdoors. Some of my hobbies are sports, woodworking, and aquarium and fishkeeping.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the great opportunity to be born into the church. My parents helped to teach me the Gospel when I was young, and as I have grown up I have come to gain my own testimony of its truthfulness. I know that the church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and through it we may have a better understanding of the Gospel and God's plan for us. I have read it and studied it thoroughly. I know that Joseph Smith was chosen as a prophet to translate the Book of Mormon and restore Christ's church back to the Earth. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week to take the sacrament and renew my covenants to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I teach the 10-12 year-old primary children every week during Sunday School. At school, work, and play I stand up for my beliefs and my religion.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

God is our Father in heaven. He created us and we lived with him before we came to Earth. He loves each of us individually. God is not a spirit. We were created in his image. He has a body like us that has been perfected. He has a plan for us to return to him again so that each of us can live with our families forever in a perfect happy state. Show more Show less
