Hi I'm Dana

I'm quirky and unique. I love silent films and 20's jazz music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the only child in my family. I've lived in Southern California my entire life. I've traveled to Hawaii many times and I consider it my second home. I love history, antiques, classic literature and anything from times past. I am currently a student a Cal State Fullerton university, majoring in anthropology and minoring in Christian studies. In my free time I love cooking and playing video games. I would love to be able to travel more once I am finished with school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the church is the true church of Christ. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints brings tremendous joy and happiness to my life. Not only does the church allow me to follow Christ's example, it allows me to become a better person day by day. It allows me to connect with other people who love their Heavenly Father and strive to follow Christ's example as well. It allows me to reach out to members of my community and the world and lend a helping hand. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints allows me to help make the world a better place and spread Christ's message.

How I live my faith

Living my faith means trying to become like Christ. It means being compassionate and sensitive to others needs. It means always lending a helping hand. It means being open to Heavenly Fathers guidance and knowing that I am lost without him. I live my faith by being a good friend to others. By lending a shoulder to cry on or being a good listener and giving advice. I live my faith by looking for the good and the positive in everyone because I know that is something Christ would do. I live my faith by following Christ's example.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

If you sincerely pray, I promise you will know the church is true. It is not something that can be fully put into words. It is a feeling that you get, a feeling of pure joy. It's the feeling of knowing for certain that you're in the right place and this is the correct path. It is a feeling that being a part of the church is the correct life path and in doing so things will work out for the better and that you're not alone. Show more Show less
