Hi I'm Heather Clayton

I have gained true knowledge of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in His restored church. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of three children and I work as a Caregiver and a CNA for seniors. I have bachelors degree in fine arts and someday I would like to be able to work at home creating art or write a book. I deeply enjoy reading biography of all the prophets and reading scriptures. When I have spare time I also like to spend few hours a day meditating on greatness of our Heavenly Father and write down all that I feel toward Him in my blog. I have been member of the church for almost two years now and since then, I have been deeply blessed in my closer relationship with Heavenly Father and in knowledge of His holy nature, greatness, and purpose of His works.

Why I am a Mormon

The missionaries of the church had told me that their church is a restored church of Jesus Christ that He had established when He was here on earth. Christ gave His disciples power to heal and teach the gospel. After Jesus Christ was crucified His followers were killed off little by little and much wickedness had entered the church. That's when God took away the power from His church but restored it again through Joseph Smith who prayed for knowing which was a true church. As I was reading Book of Mormon, my heart was softened and uplifted. I became enlightened by many people in the book who also had testimony of Jesus Christ as son of God who have endured trials and afflictions in faith and love to gain blessings and eternal life. With all of my heart and soul, I testify to all the world that church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is a true church and that Book of Mormon is an inspired work of God to bring about fullness of gospel to help us be prepared in heart to receive fullness of joy in eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by befriending anyone who comes into my life and offering them kind words to lift them up even at work. I try to perform my duty in obeying God and serving others as my priority. My calling at church is to teach Personal Progress to the young women once a month and I am learning and working on it at same time because I am a new convert. I am also called to take care of baptismal gowns in keeping them neat in the closet and washing them after each use. I am also active doing visiting teaching all the members in my list and to inquire them of their well being and their needs and try to meet them if I can. I love serving in my callings because it allows me to engage in other people's lives to share the great lessons in the scriptures and gives me opportunity to help them with their true needs. I have many testimony of Heavenly Father's works in my daily life and in my heart and I share them in my blog to let others know that He will deliver us and help us no matter how many times we fall in our effort to obey Him as long as we allow Him to be our God and our refuge.
