Hi I'm Becky

I grew up in and love Ohio. I'm a wife and mom and I love to be creative. I'm a bit of an organizational freak. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a full time mom with three kids - and they keep me plenty busy! I enjoy reading and doing crafty or creative things, although I'm not at the level of most "Mormon Mommy Bloggers!" I've been known to enjoy cooking and baking as well. I'm a self proclaimed neat freak and I love organizing!! I like things to have a place. Granted, with three kids under 5 my house doesn't always reflect that, but I try. I've struggled with depression since I was a teenager, but I find that with the support and love of my family and the Savior, life is always worth living.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of how it makes me feel. There is a peace and comfort in the teachings that feels complete and I haven't found it anywhere else. I have prayed about The Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, and about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a whole, and I have felt the Holy Ghost whispering to me of their truth. This gospel is true, and I know it with such a surety that it is difficult to explain. It has literally saved my life and has brought me the only true joys I've ever known.

How I live my faith

I try to talk to my children about the Savior and his teachings every day. I teach them to pray and I try to set an example of faith for them to see. In church, I work with young women, mostly the 16 and 17 year olds. Teaching them helps me strengthen my love and commitment to the Savior and His gospel. In the past, I've also with children of all ages, teaching them music or other lessons. I'm not anywhere close to perfect, but I try to be my best every single day as a way to show my appreciation to my Heavenly Father for all of His many blessings.
