Hi I'm David Nord

I grew up in Orem, Utah. I love to Snowboard, Rock-climb, and explore. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18, preparing to serve a mission in the Rosario, Argentina Mission. After I return, I plan on going to college at Brigham Young University. In my free time, I like to Rock climb in nearby American fork Canyon and Rock Canyon. I also spend my winters snowboarding at various resorts around Utah. I love the outdoors, and all of the natural beauty in Utah. I enjoy singing, and I am a member of a few different Choirs from my current High School.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon partly because I was born into the faith, but my personal conversion has solidified my love of this gospel and my love of the Savior. This gospel is one of hope and love. With it comes a constant feeling of security and peace which I find incredible. The love that I feel from my Savior and from the members of the LDS church around me validates and builds me up, and I would not change that for the world. I bear my testimony that Joseph Smith was a real, true prophet. I testify that he did indeed see God the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ, and through its teachings man may grow closer to God.

How I live my faith

To live my faith, I do my best to serve the community I live in and communities abroad. I am currently preparing to serve a two year mission to Rosario, Argentina in which I will spend all of my time proselyting and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Once a month I visit families in my neighborhood and teach/visit with them.
