Hi I'm Stacy Olsen

I'm a piano major and a long distance runner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 6 children, and am separated by my siblings by 10 years! With that, I am pretty much the coolest aunt of 15 neices and nephews. Spending time with those kids is my favorite thing to do. I also love playing card games with my siblings and parents. On my own, I have always loved practicing the piano, and have been playing since kindergarten. While piano is what I am best at, running is the thing I do that keeps me sane. I run almost every day, and most of my life goes downhill if I get out of the habit. Besides that, I love reading- my favorite genres are science fiction and fantasy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because it makes me happy. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the only true source of complete and lasting happiness. I am a Mormon because I want to be happy now, for the rest of my life, and for life after death. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ provides a way for me to be with my family forever. It provides a way for me to have continuous progression and happiness. I know this because I have lived the teachings of Jesus Christ and experienced His Grace. I know that Jesus loves me and that He loves you. I know that He wants each of us to be happy and that He has provided the way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by playing the organ and/or the piano for church meetings whenever I get the chance. I also sing or play the piano in spiritual musical numbers as often as I can. As a teenager, I was a leader in the young women's organization, and helped plan events for the youth. I lived my faith by loving the girls that I served and served with. I invited them to activities and became friends with them. I live my faith by making friends and spending time with them. I love it when I have the opportunity to take time away from piano studies or other schoolwork, and help a friend instead. I live my faith through service. I live my faith by loving my family. I put my family first. I help out around the house, and I do my best to be patient with and obedient to my parents. I help my siblings with their kids, and try to be a good influence on my neices and nephews.
