Hi I'm Jennah

I grew up in Idaho. I am an artist and violinist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up in Idaho, I had so many adventures outdoors with family and friends. I enjoy boating, camping, horse riding, hiking, four wheeling, climbing and exploring. I hope I always have the luxury of living in the country, close to the mountains. I have also loved to draw and paint since I was a little girl. This desire continued throughout the years and led me to graduating with my Bachelors in Art at BYU-Idaho; I really love figurative art--trying to recreate the beauty of people on a canvas is so enriching and exciting. My family has always treasured the importance of music, so I have played the violin, piano, and sang since I was young. I truly love music, all different kinds. When I play the violin, I prefer classical music; but when I listen to music on the radio, I prefer country.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to grow up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a Mormon because I believe it is truly what God wants me to do in order to return to Him someday; it is His gospel here on the earth, restored through a true prophet, and shared through true prophets and apostles today. I know that God cares infinitely about me and each one of His children, and so he directs us in these trying times of life through His prophets, so that we will know how to better follow Him and return to live with Him someday. He gives us structure, guidance, revelation, peace, responsibility, fellowship, and happiness through His gospel, the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I love my family with all my heart, and I know that through sacred covenants I can be with them forever with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ is my brother, friend, and Redeemer, and through His Atonement I have been able to not only repent of my sins and will be able to live again after this life, but I can become happy and full of hope, no matter how difficult of a time I am going through. Because of my love for Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ, I want to follow them, become like them, and teach other people how to do that as well. There is no other thing that gives me greater happiness than doing my best to follow the Savior's example, being with my family, and teaching others about the Savior and Heavenly Father's wonderful plan of happiness for each one of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be sensitive to the needs of those around me, and helping people whenever and however I can. I visit teach my assigned sisters in my ward each month, share a spiritual message with them from the prophet or apostles, and try to get to know their needs and be their friend. I attend church each week to learn more about the Savior, His life, His purpose, and how I can become more like Him. I renew my promises with my Heavenly Father each week at church, and try to live by them throughout each day.
