Hi I'm Michelle Isom

I was born and raised in Provo, Utah. I love to travel, be outside, and play sports. I have the greatest family in the world!

About Me

I was born and raised in Provo, Utah and I have the greatest family in the world! I love to travel, be outside, and play sports. I grew up playing all kinds of sports; cross-country, soccer, basketball, and golf. I attended my freshman year of college at Brigham Young University of Hawaii, where I played on the women's basketball team and studied Psychology. I served a full-time mission in the Texas, McAllen Mission and absolutely LOVED IT.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are members of the church and I am blessed to have been born into a family that already has the truth about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I was taught principles as a child and later chose to be baptized when I was eight years old. I've tried my best to follow the Savior's example, and become like Him, but I often make mistakes along the way. Christ's Atonement is a process I use constantly in my life, and I have seen changes in the way I think, act, and live because of the blessing of the Atonement. I am a Mormon, and I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints truly is Christ's church, once again established on the earth today, through a modern-day prophet named Joseph Smith. I've come a long way, and learned so much about myself and my relationship with my Savior and Heavenly Father in the last few years. God's plan is a plan of happiness, and the center of His plan is families. We are brought into this world through families, and if we live righteously and accept Christ's gospel, we can live with our families for eternity. I'm beyond grateful for my eternal family and the life and light that the restored gospel brings to me. It truly is the center of everything. My Father in Heaven knows me and loves me and wants the best for me. And I hope and pray that I am living in a way that I can someday return to Him and live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I try to be the best example that I can be, and do my best to help others learn of Him and His love and grace. I enjoy learning about, studying, and applying the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. As a missionary, I had the wonderful opportunity to study a lot about Jesus Christ and His gospel and how it blesses lives and then share it with countless people. I have a testimony of the simplicity of the gospel. I have a testimony of prayer, daily scripture study, and the healing power of the sacrament. I can see the blessings of the gospel in my life every single day.
