Hi I'm Kaitlin Johnson

"Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game."

About Me

I love to sing, dance, run, hang out with my friends and family, and just have fun! I have four crazy brothers that I love to death( two younger and two older), and two incredible parents that support me in everything I do. My family means the world to me and I don't know what I would ever do without with them. I was going to college for a semester after I graduated from high school but it didn't feel quite right for me at the time. So, I decided to take a different path. On July 30, 2014 I leave to Japan Tokyo to serve as a Missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am so blessed and excited to have this amazing opportunity to serve my Heavenly Father for 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the Happiness and Love that this gospel brings to me in my life. When I am following the teachings and covenants I am asked to follow I am always the happiest. When I am sad and I feel alone I always know that I have a Father in Heaven that loves me so incredibly much and that he would do anything for me. I just need to remember to look up. He is always just a prayer away. In this gospel we are truly never alone because Heavenly Father will never leave us. He loves all of his children equally. I want to become like my Heavenly father and his son Jesus Christ. As I serve others it brings me closer to Him and it helps me become a better person. I have chosen to go on a mission so I can find myself, and see the person that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are trying to help me become. I have been given such a great life and an Eternal family that I will have forever and I want to show my Father in Heaven how grateful I am by serving him and letting others know how wonderful this gospel is. I want others to be the happiest they can be. I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. And I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by choosing to serve a full time mission, where I will put my full faith on the Lord so I can serve others with all my might. I am serving in Japan Tokyo and I hardly know any Japanese. But, I know that through my Heavenly Fathers help I will be blessed and he will help me learn the language. In my ward I am a primary teacher. A primary teacher teaches the children from ages 12 and under. They are my absolute favorite. Because they are so innocent and have the light of Christ just glowing inside of them. I teach the 10 to 11 year olds. What I love about teaching primary is that not only does teaching them help strengthen my testimony but the kids themselves teach me something new everyday.
