Hi I'm Brittany

I love to laugh. I am a runner. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to run. I currently am training for another half marathon and hope to run a marathon in the next few years. I just graduated high school last year and just finished my first year at Brigham Young University in Provo. College is so fun and I am looking forward to going back after i finish my mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I also love to cook and bake. I make anything from cookies to cakes to chocolate strawberries. I am also an identical twin! My sister is my best friend and we love to laugh and have a great time together. I love my parents and family as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and have grown up in a LDS (mormon) family. I am very grateful and feel blessed that my parents raised me in this religion. Being a mormon has changed my life so much for the better and brought me so much happiness. This gospel just has so many great things, that have influenced my life and will continue to do so. We believe in God and his son Jesus Christ. We believe that God is our father in heaven and we are his children. Knowing that we have a father in heaven who loves and cares about each and every person on this earth brings me such happiness. Sometimes many people feel alone in this life and because of our Savior Jesus Christ we can never be alone. We believe that God sent his son Jesus to atone for our sins and die on the cross so that we each can be forgiven. When Christ atoned for our sins he suffered through everyone's pains, sins, and everything we each go through. When we are struggling, or hurt, or make a mistake we have Christ to turn to because he has gone through what each and everyone of us has and will go through. I also love being a Mormon because of the plan we are taught. This is the plan of Salvation. The plan of salvation teaches us that we came to this earth to be tested and to do our best to be like Christ and strive to return to live with him someday. In this plan we can be reunited with our family and those we have lost after death. Knowing our importance and purpose in this life brings my life so much more happiness and meaning. I have never gone a day regretting being a part of this religion. I love how it has made me a better person and brought me such happiness.

How I live my faith

I believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent and so many other things. I show I believe these things, with how I live my life, with high standards. I go to church every Sunday and participate in all my meetings. During the week I live my life with high standards with the way I treat people, with kindness and love, and support. I do my best to live the things that I am taught at church and through the scriptures. I believe that we should live our lives as Jesus Christ did. I try to be like him every day with all the things I do.
