Hi I'm Jason

I have lived in Salt Lake City, Utah my entire life. I served a mission in the Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a chemical engineering. I travel around the world. I love running and run marathons as frequently as I can. I usually run about 7-9 marathons each year and I run 10 plus miles a day. I am a father and husband with 4 children. I also love being in the mountains, including skiing, hiking, backpacking, and hiking. I love reading Shakespeare and the scriptures.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the way the church and the gospel make me feel. It is a privilege to be a member of this church. I love the feelings I have and the insights I gain as I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I love the feeling that God listens to my prayers and answers them. My burdens seem light because of this church and I know that whatever happens in my life, God is there to help me. I am a Mormon because I know without doubt that this is the true church.

How I live my faith

I am a leader of several people in my area and help them with their efforts to visit and strengthen others. I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon every day for 1-2 hours. I love reading the scriptures. I pray each morning and evening. I also pray with my family and read the scriptures with them. I go to church every Sunday and visit one of the temples in my area each week. I volunteer to serve others on a weekly basis, including yard work, visits, helping people move in and move out, etc.
