Hi I'm Jim

I was born in California, grew up in Utah. I'm a father and grandfather and married my best friend.

About Me

I'm retired now from the Healthcare industry where I worked as a Hospital Administrator for 21 years. I grew up loving the outdoors and helping my dad with the family farm. I married my high school sweetheart and we have four wonderful children and 9 super grandchildren, with three more on the way. My escape from stress is riding 4 wheelers, which I love. I love being with my family and Disneyland is always our favorite spot to take the grandchildren. We love to travel and see this beautiful world that God has created for us.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because I know in my heart that my Heavenly Father loves me and knows me personally. I am so grateful for all that He has given me and my family. It comforts me to know that Heavenly Father answers my prayers and helps to guide and direct my life through all the ups and downs that come my way. Faith is what drives my passion for the church, having a knowledge that families can truly be together forever with our Father in Heaven and His son, Jesus Christ. We have experienced the loss of a precious granddaughter and knowing that we will live with her again after this life provides such great peace and joy. I know that Heavenly Father lives and that through the atoning sacrifice of his Son, Jesus Christ, we can live together as families forever.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Being a member of the church has allowed me to serve in many different capacities. I have served as a Bishop in the church which has given me the great opportunity to be involved with and provide help to many individuals and families. Service to others is how I live my faith and now I am going to Sweden for the next three years to serve with my wife as missionaries in order to help others come to know our Savior, Jesus Christ.
