Hi I'm Dallin

I'm from Las Vegas, Nevada. My dream is to one day walk on the moon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending BYU in Provo, Utah studying chemical engineering. I love the sciences and I want to pursue a career in them. I also love reading sci-fi and fantasy novels, and hope to write my own one day. I was a distance runner in high school, and I continue to enjoy going for long runs.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who are Mormon, and their parents were Mormon as well. So for the first decade or so of my life I simply lived as I was taught, but didn't really understand the gospel. As I went into my teenage years, I began to wonder if what I was taught was really the truth, or if I was living on borrowed testimony. It was at this time that I had several powerful spiritual experiences, and through study and prayer, I was able to receive peace through the witness of the Holy Ghost. I know this Church is true, it has proper priesthood authority, and it explains the doctrines of happiness.

How I live my faith

In my ward at college I was a Sunday school teacher, and I enjoyed serving the other members of my ward. Recently I have received the call to serve a mission for the church, preaching the gospel and rendering service to the people of Kobe, Japan. I will voluntarily serve there for the next two years.
