Hi I'm Ashley Ludwig

I'm a born and raised Idahoan. I currently attend BYU-I. I love Disney, country music, Dr. Pepper and this gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 22 year old currently attending Brigham Young University-Idaho. My major is ECSE (early childhood/special education) and I hope to either go into teaching or continue with a master's and go into Speech Pathology. I am from Meridian, Idaho. The temple there will be finished soon and I am so excited for this blessing. I love Broadway, performing, singing, dancing, playing the piano, and hanging out with family and friends. I also love chocolate ice-cream, pizza, country music (don't hate!) and Dr. Pepper. Those things make life great! I served in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania mission and loved it. It wasn't the easiest thing to do, but it was so rewarding. I learned so much and it shaped me into who I am today. Pennsylvania will always have a piece of my heart. The most important thing to me in life is this gospel. I've had struggles throughout my entire life and the gospel is the only thing that shines a light at the end of a very dark tunnel. I know that Jesus Christ lives and I know that because of Him I can be happy too. We are all sons and daughters of a loving God who wants us to be happy. He wants us all to come home.

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely love this gospel. I believe that without the peace this gospel brings to me in my life, I wouldn't be as happy as I am today. I've gone through some hard things and without it, I don't know where I'd be. I know the church is true. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet. I know the Book of Mormon is the true word of God and the Bible is also the true word of God as long as it is translated correctly. I also know that President Thomas S. Monson is the true modern day prophet. I know that we can live with our families and Father in Heaven for eternity as long as we obey the commandments and endure to the end. I know that the gospel can bless people's lives.

How I live my faith

I have shown my faith through different volunteer services in my church. I also served a mission for the church in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. I live my faith by doing my best to follow Jesus Christ and strive to become more like him. I do this through small and simple things such as praying and reading my scriptures. I also do my best to serve those around me and become more like Christ everyday.
