Hi I'm William Woodward

I grew up in Utah. Im serving a mission in South Africa. Im a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a triathlete, I love cycling and running. I have played football, baseball, cross country, track, hockey and many other sports. Im a Science Sterling Scholar and love to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ is a religion that answers all my questions. I love to set goals and strive to achieve them. The knowledge I have gained as I have studied the gospel gives me purpose for my entire life. I know that there is a life beyond this earthly realm. I know that as I strive to become a better person I become more like my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that if I continue to improve that when we are all resurected, regaining our physical bodies after death, I can become an eternal being. I know that God is unchanging and will bless us as we follow His laws. I also know that Joseph Smith was inspired by God as he translated the Book of Mormon and restored Gods Church to the earth, the same church that Jesus Christ created when He Himself personally was on the earth.

How I live my faith

I love reading the Book of Mormon. It is such an inspiring book that makes me want to be better everytime I open its pages. I have been on the Stake Youth Committee, a group that organizes and plans activities for the youth (12-18) in my area. I love to serve and make people happy!

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

William Woodward
Missionaries are commonly seen going door to door. Many people believe that they are trying to "sell" our religion. The purpose of missionaries is to invite others to come unto Christ. They are simply there to serve others and to help bring happiness and fufillment to the people around them. Their teachings are centered in the family as we believe that the most important work and one person can do is within the walls of their own home. Missionaries are teaching others to spread hope, chairity, love, virtue, knowledge, patience, humility and diligence. Missionaries desire to spread the light and happiness they have because of the blessings of the gospel. Show more Show less
