Hi I'm Londyn

I am a daughter of God. I love dance, serving others, and the wide open spaces of my hometown in Buffalo Wyoming. I'm a mormon!

About Me

I am the third of four kids, I have a loving mom and dad who have taught me so much and helped me understand who I am and what I really want out of life. I am a full time representative for our lord, Jesus Christ, serving as a missionary for his church in the Provo Utah mission! Before my mission I attended college at BYU-Idaho, but still have not made up my mind on what I want to study. I love dancing of any kind, but clogging is by far my favorite! I also enjoy cliff/bridge jumping, horse back-riding, snow shoeing, snowboarding and hiking. Nothing is more important to me than my family, my family means the world to me. They are always there for me, they support me in all that I do. Families are definitely a huge part on the gospel of Jesus christ, we have been given familes to learn and grow together. I can't wait for the day when I can be sealed for time and all eternity to my husband and the children that I will be able to raise in the gospel, just as my parents did for me. I am a loved daughter of an all-knowing and all-powerful God. I am created after his image. I am here to fulfill his will and plan for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for my entire life. Growing up I heard a lot of really cool conversion stories, I used to think they were the coolest stories ever! And to be honest I used to be jealous of those people, because they could look back on their lives and actually see the difference that the gospel made and see how far they had come. As I look back on my life I realize how grateful I am that I was able to slowly and piece by piece gain my testimony. I have never really had one of those 'ah-ha' moments when all the pieces fit together and I intantly knew this church was true. I have come to understand that is because Heavenly Father knows better than I, he knows that I needed to learn over time, and through that long process I gained such a strong testimony that this church is true. I know that we have a father in heaven that loves us all on a very individual and personal level. Only he knows what is truly best for us. He knows our true needs, and it probably won't be what we think we want. I have learned that when we put all of our trust in him we will never feel alone, discouraged or disappointed. I am a Mormon because I know God loves us, and it's because of that love that we have this church. One of my favorite scriptures is in Ephesians it says: "One lord, one faith, one baptism" Joseph Smith read this scripture while searching for the truth. He knew, as do I, that God would not cause contention and confusion to be upon his chrildren, of whom he loved so much. So in Joseph's honest search for the truth he cotinued searching for that "one lord, one faith, one baptism" and then he came across the scripture in James 1:5 and that lead him to pray and ask of God. Then he found the "one lord, one faith, one baptism." And that is now found in this church. I'm a Mormon because our church is centered on the one lord, our church has all of the one truth and we have the keys to perform that one baptism in the name of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by not being afraid to share it with all those I come in contact with. I have leaned that as a child of God it is my responsibility and my privilege to share this truth of a loving father with everyone. As a missionary we are told to 'talk with everyone'. But that's not the full time missionaries responsibility alone. When I was baptized I promised my father in heaven that I would always remember him and take his name upon my self. At that time at the young age of eight I wrote his name on my heart. When I am no longer wearing his name on a name tag pinned on my coat I will always be a representative of him! As I serve those around me, as I love others as he loves them and as I live true to his commandments.
