Hi I'm Jordan Kendall

I grew up in North Carolina. I play soccer. I will be serving a mission in Veracruz, Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm Jordan. I just finished my first year of college up in Idaho. I was born in Utah, have lived in Albany, New York, and was mostly raised in Durham, North Carolina. My greatest passion is soccer. It is probably my favorite thing to do for fun in this world. I also love listening to music, of any kind. I am a certified SCUBA open water diver, and am a lover of art of all types, especially visual arts and film.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony that this is the Lord's church. I know that the gospel was restored upon the earth by a prophet, Joseph Smith. I have a testimony that the church today is ruled by a prophet and that he is Thomas S. Monson. The prophet of this church receives direct revelation from God. This concept is really incredible to me, and I try and stay worthy for personal revelation through the Holy Ghost. I also have a testimony that families can be together forever through the Atonement. This was all made possible through the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Part of how I live my faith is that I fulfill my callings in church. I have served in many callings, but my most recent one was activities/service coordinator in my student ward while I was in my student ward at college. This was a great calling and I really enjoyed setting up activities and service opportunities for my elder's quorum. Another way that I live my faith is by serving a mission for my church. I am looking forward to serving in Veracruz, Mexico. I also try and always present myself in a way that suits a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints.
