Hi I'm Kenny Hovley

I'm a Mormon. That's whats up!

About Me

I'm onto a lot of different things, but for the time being I am really into preaching the Gospel. Nothing is as sweet as sitting down with families and helping them understand that this restored Gospel will bring them peace and happiness now and FOREVER. I am serving a mission in Sierra Leone and am having the time of my life. Before I found myself on this adventure I was a college student with big dreams. I plan on doing something amazing with technology. For now I am majoring in electronic engineering. I love sports, anything out doors, and making and listening to all types of music. I am cool with just about anything. Of all my hobbies I really love skiing. I think that is something that I would like to do in the next life as well.... My favorite thing in the world, however, is my family. Nothing makes me happy like them. They are the greatest, and I really thank God that I was blessed with such a wonderful family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is Christ's church. This is the way back to the father. Being a Mormon means that I have the Gospel and all of the blessings related to it. Being a Mormon gives me an opportunity to live a life that will bring me more happiness than anything else! I have no idea why I would ever be anything else. I really thank God that I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I felt it important that I give back the best I can to my Heavenly Father by serving a mission for the Lord's church. I am currently living my faith by sharing that faith with as many people as I can. In Africa the people are so wonderful and friendly and are so ready to learn about Christ. There are a lot of people here without a Christian background, and I feel privileged to share with them about Christ and what he did for us. I know that this is true. My faith keeps me going.
