Hi I'm Levi

Im a missionary in South Carolina!

About Me

I was born in Arizona, moved to Utah for a few years, then ended up in the best state in the west: New Mexico! I graduated high school there, went to college there for a semester, and then decided i wanted a change and decided to transfer to BYU-Hawaii. I've traveled around the North American continent a lot in my few years on this earth and i have loved every trip i have ever been on no matter where I go. I plan on moving to Alaska for the summer upon my return from my two year mission, and im totally stoked for it. There is so much adventure out there in the world and i plan on experiencing everything at least once in this life! Heavenly Father wouldnt have given us so many fun things to do if we werent suppose to take advantage of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon for one reason alone... I KNOW ITS TRUE! I didn't know for the longest time if it was true or not. I grew up in the church, but to be honest, i just didn't care about it. Soon the time came though where it was time for me to serve a mission... and i honestly did not know if i wanted to go. Two years was a big commitment that i wasn't sure that i wanted to make. So i decided that maybe i should find out for myself whether this was true or not. So that's exactly what i did! And i didn't get an answer. What the heck?! I couldn't figure out what i was doing wrong. That's it, I'm not going on a mission i told myself. I didn't get an answer that it was true, so therefore i didn't have to go. Then the next day i got super sick and ended up going to urgent care. That night as i was laying in bed sick i decided that i should probably try again to see if this whole religion thing was right. So i did, and this time i truly did get an answer. This first time i asked i wasn't humble enough, but the next day Heavenly Father definitely humbled me enough for me to receive an answer. From that moment on i knew that i needed to serve a mission and live the Gospel fully in my life. And i have not regretted it yet! Heavenly Fathers way is the best way and it makes you the happiest you could possibly be in this life! I know its true and Heavenly Father knows i know it.

How I live my faith

Well i live my faith by attempting to do all the Heavenly Father has assigned for me to do while on this Earth. I go to church every week, actively participate in callings that i receive, and try to help anyone that needs help if i can. Right now i am serving a full time in the South Carolina, Columbia Mission and am loving every minute of it. Even though i cant understand half of the things that are being said to me, i still love the people so much haha. Missions take a lot of dedication and are a pretty big sacrifice to the individual, but they are absolutely worth it. Bringing people into the waters of baptism is truly one of the most humbling and best feelings in the world. One of the goals that i have in this life is to do one thing a day that would make my Heavenly Father smile and i know that living this Gospel fully makes him smile.
