Hi I'm Kylee

I'm a Mormon :)

About Me

I am addicted to the outdoors. I love to hike, bike, camp, fish, kayak, and everything and anything in between. I love to experiment in the kitchen, read, watch movies, and most of all spend time with my family. I have been going to school at BYU-Idaho and hope to apply to their nursing program when I return from my mission. After I get my degree I want to work with Special Needs, natural disaster relief and/or join an organization like "Doctors without Borders". I love to travel and experience new things. I have a lengthy bucket list that includes learning to blow glass, sleeping in a tree, and eating African food.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in the church I still had to come to know the truth for myself. I went through a time when I wasn't sure about God or even religion in general and I had many doubts. I realize now that I knew that this was the truth all along, but that I needed to figure things out for myself, and I am grateful for this as my testimony is now stronger than it ever would have been if I had not experienced what I did. I am more sure of a loving Heavenly Father and a perfect atoning Jesus Christ, the Son of God, than I am of anything thing else. Because of Christ's sacrifice and Heavenly Father's Plan of Happiness, we can be with our families for eternity and are able to return to live with them again someday. He knows me, He knows you, and He loves and listens to us all. We are His children and He will never forsake or abandon us. When the storms of life rage and we feel as if we are completely alone, He is always there and always will be there. I know this to be true for myself, I have felt Him carry me when I couldn't take a single step further.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing and about to leave to serve a full time mission in Eugene, Oregon for 18 months. Until I leave I help and participate in lessons and activities with the youth in my home ward. I love being around their contagious spirit and seeing their wonderful examples..
