Hi I'm Matt Royster

I grew up in the country roads of West Virginia, and I enjoy running and sports in general. I also love talking with people.

About Me

What are some things that can some up me? Well, I enjoy running and was on my high school's track and cross country teams, and I also did soccer and swimming. I love playing the trumpet and was in my high school's jazz ensemble. I really enjoy hanging out with friends. I don't particularly enjoy studying for school, but getting good grades is certainly a good feeling. I attend college at Brigham Young University Provo. I always try to do my best in whatever task comes my way, and I really love giving service and helping others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because of the blessings that have resulted from being a member of it. I will admit that there have been times when I have questioned how we could possibly know that this is the true church. However, after kneeling down in prayer and earnestly asking, I knew that this church was true. I am a member of this church because I have faith that it is the true church, and I believe all the principles and standards that the church believes. I am a member of the church because of how it has helped strengthen me and helped me grow as an individual. I am a member of this church because of how it has lead me on a righteous path, and the best path for me.

How I live my faith

Some ways I live my faith is by attending church every Sunday and making sure I fulfill all my duties. In college I was given a calling in the church to help organize all the activities for the college students in my ward, or people that I attend church with. It was a great experience and helped me reach out to others and find ways to try to get everyone involved. I also try to follow the guidance of my church leaders, and I try to reach out to others and teach them things about our church. I will be serving a mission for my church in Argentina.
