Hi I'm Isaac

I grew up abroad. I love to work and I'm a mormon.

About Me

Because of my father's job growing up, I lived all over the place! I lived in New Delhi, India for 3 years and Jakarta, Indonesia for 2. I've also visited countless other places- I love travel and other cultures almost more than anything. After graduating high school I went to Brigham Young Univeristy where I studied Mathematics.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church of Jesus Christ. Although we attended other services occasionally, the beliefs of this church were all I was familiar with. As I grew up, I started to ask questions. These questions (and the way I tried to find their answers) eventually drew me away from the church and its teachings. After a period of drifting- I found myself empty. There were questions that I couldn't find answers to, and there was a hole in my heart that I was trying to ignore but couldn't. When I realized that I wasn't happy, I knew there was no other option but to try an "experiment upon the word" as Alma called it. I returned to the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I found that my soul truly did begin to expand, and slowly but surely I gained a testimony that the church is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing it! When I finally realized how grateful I was for what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has taught me, I decided to give 2 years of my life to service in the church. Being a missionary is a different life, but the blessings I've seen in the lives of others has been worth every second.
