Hi I'm Marsha

I'm a mom of seven, a mother-in-law of five, and a grandmother of twenty. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Washington, went to college in Utah, lived 10 years in New Jersey, and have spent the last 30 years in Texas. I raised a family that I love very much! Now I am loving being a "grammy" to 20 grandchildren! I love to travel, to read, and am beginning to enjoy exercise and walking.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life. It brings me so much joy! I love knowing about the plan of Salvation! Because of the gospel, I know why I am here and about life after death. I know families are forever and this gives me purpose and a desire to live a life that will lead me back to live with My Heavenly Father. I am grateful for the young boy, Joseph Smith, who to know which church he should join and was lead by Heavenly Father and Jesus to restore the church that Jesus began while He was on earth. I am grateful for a living prophet today who is inspired and will lead and guide us in righteousness. I am grateful for Jesus Christ, my Savior, and His Atonement. I am a Mormon still (and always) because I know it is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for the guidance and knowledge the scriptures provide me. I am grateful for prayer and being to converse with the Lord.

How I live my faith

My religion is who I am! I love working in the organizations of my faith. Over the years I have worked in the children's organization, with the youth, and with the Women's organization. I have been President of all at one time, taught classes in all, and taught Seminary (one year, but so rewarding)! I love to people and I love to serve. I have also been a Service Missionary for 2 years. When my children were younger I enjoyed being their room mother, their team mom, and helping in our schools and community when I was able.
