Hi I'm Haley

I grew up with 4 brothers who taught me well in many aspects of life ;). I Love the Gospel, ice cream, sports, and the mountains:)

About Me

I just recently returned from the Wild and Wonderfulness of West Virginia and Virginia from serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love this gospel with all my heart and want for all to enjoy it with me! In The Book of Mormon in 1 Nephi 8 Lehi (a prophet) has a dream about the Tree of Life. As he partakes of the fruit he is desirous for his family to partake of it. THAT is how I feel about the Restored Gospel. I want everyone I know and all those I don't know to taste the fruits of this gospel! The scriptures bring so much joy to me and they are the Iron rod that I hold to tightly. I invite everyone to join with me in reading the cherishing the Word of God, or as I like to say, "The Good Word". ;) This Gospel is True and I'm so blessed to be a missionary spreading joy to all!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's True church here on the earth today. How can that be? Well... the short story is that in 1820 a boy named Joseph Smith had a simple prayer of which church to join. God, The Father and His son Jesus Christ both appeared to him and told him that the full gospel of Jesus Christ needed to be restored. So it was. :) And I'm so blessed to be a part of it. I was raised in this church, but I came to know the truthfulness of it, and my Savior by trying to live and abide by all he taught! I invite YOU to try living the Restored Gospel. And to come and see what we're all about-because its wonderful and will greatly improve the quality of your life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church and all the fun activities provided for single adults, youth, and families. I would always tell my friends in college if they are ever hungry to head on over to the institute building(where we hold our religion classes, church, and activities). They always had free food! :) Right now I live my faith by spreading it! Being a missionary has truly opened my eyes, heart and mind to so many things. I love that all day every day I get to meet people and talk about our Savior, Jesus Christ. I strive to become closer to him daily through prayer, scripture study and baring testimony of Him! He lives! And Loves YOU. :)

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

They will talk about what you need! And will help you in any way that they can. Their main purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ. So that's what they'll do! Teach about the Who, what, why, where and how's of this gospel. I can promise you that it will bless your life and be exactly what you're looking for! Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

When we partake of these addictive substances we loose our freedom to choose for ourselves. We are taken over by our addiction. Even though it may seem small in the long run it helps us to be free. Being free of addiction is a great example of how rules work and why they set us free. There are better and cheaper ways to stay energized and have fun. For example: Did you know that an apple a day keeps the doctor away? I was also told by my mother-who knows best- that an apple gives you much more energy than coffee and tea. And is way better breakfast selection. ;) ALSO, Did you know that there are these cool things called board games and lemonade? WAY more fun than alcohol and doing illegal drugs. ;) Along with watching my favorite movie.. FROZEN. :) Show more Show less
