Hi I'm Jordan

I am a business student at Utah State, thrill seeker, and I'm also a mormon.

About Me

I love attending Utah State! I enjoy studying management and economics. One of my favorite things to do at USU is to go to basketball games and shout the cheer "I Believe That We Will Win!" while jumping around. It pumps up the team and the fans. I love to ski! There isn't another feeling like blasting between trees with fresh powder spraying up over your skis. My family and I like to go camping, especially at the sand dunes, to ride dirt bikes. I like to play intramural sports at school for the competition and exercise. I like to do these activities with family and friends so we can share the experience and talk about it after. I love laughing about memories we've had on our adventures. I am the youngest out of four kids. I'm a son, a brother, an uncle, and someday, years down the road I want to be a father. My family teaches me a lot, helps me grow, tests my patience, and brings me joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a household that already had the knowledge of this gospel but I still had to learn of its truthfulness for myself. Deep down a part of me always knew it was true, but I still went through some trials that tested my faith. Through trusting in Him and lots of prayer I have learned that the Lord hears me. He gives me strength to overcome any challenges and temptations that beset me, and sometimes He is the only way I could make it through them. I also know that when I falter His atonement is in place to help me pick back up and strive for perfection, and this is the way to return to Him. Heavenly Father has a flawless plan in place for this very reason. Without the hope of living eternally with our families this life would seem pointless. Living His gospel truly brings joy.

How I live my faith

I like to serve people any way I can. One way I do this at school is with a pornography awareness group called Fight The New Drug. I help teach people how addictive things can damage your brain. I try to be a positive influence and make people laugh. I encourage friends to attend church meetings with me. I am preparing to serve a mission. I try to continually improve myself. As I review my actions I decide how I can act more Christlike. Living Christlike, or a good Christian life, makes me happier. I know there is always room for improvement.
