Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up all over the United States. I went to high school in Keokuk, Iowa. I want to study aerospace technology. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading, writing, video games and movies. I really like science fiction and just getting to know people. In school I did speech, basketball, choir, and show choir. I'm currently serving a mission in the Idaho Nampa mission. After my mission I plan on going to BYU-I for my general classes and then transferring and going into Aerospace Engineering. Space is my jam!

Why I am a Mormon

I was never really religious as a teenager, it wasn't until I was 16 that I really gained my testimony of the Church. I had been going through some rough times in my life, and was really struggling to find myself. It was at this point in my life that some key players entered my life, my local Bishop along with my family started really getting serious about the gospel with me. I started thinking about it, I read and listened to lessons in church. I started really pondering the gospel and started praying more. It was at this point in my life that I discovered how much I love this gospel and the church. My life started looking better every day. I really started feeling positive about life. I got more involved in church, and got to where I am today.

How I live my faith

In the church I loved attending youth groups and scouting, and served as a Patrol Leader in scouting for about 3 years. After I graduated high school I became the music director for our Sunday meetings, a teacher for the 7-11 year old class, and a music teacher for the children 11 and under. I really enjoyed hometeaching, or visiting members and providing support. Often times me and my father would spend a couple hours with a family, just chatting and having fun, helping them with any problems they're having, and just showing them the true love of Christ.
