Hi I'm Preston

I grew up in Portland, when I was 15 my family moved to Mexico City, now I am on a mission in Madrid Spain. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a college student who is taking 2 years off from school to be full time missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints in Madrid Spain. In school I am studying to become an economist, I hope to graduate from BYU-Idaho in 2017. I speak the Spanish language and I'm currently studying Russian. Knowing Spanish has helped me find internships in Mexico on two occasions first at Intel and later for the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. I love to learn and study new things both in the classroom and outside of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. From the time I was born my parents have taught me about Jesus Christ and his life. My parents gave me the tools and support to know for myself that the things they had taught me were true. Through these experiences I gained a personal testimony that the LDS church is Christ's church.

How I live my faith

In my home ward I was the executive secretary, I helped our bishop, the congregation leader, with agendas and his appointments, I also helped in my ward as a youth group teacher teaching youths from ages 12-14 each Sunday. Now I am serving the church as a full time missionary where I will have the opportunity to testify of Christ and teach the world the gospel truths and knowledge.
