Hi I'm Erica

I attend Brigham Young University. I love basketball. Texas forever. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in Colorado, but claim Texas as home. I am a psychology major and spanish minor at BYU. I love to watch and play many sports, but basketball is my favorite. I have recently started to read more and have become quite the book worm. I enjoy anything that is fun and adventurous and am always looking to meet new people. I am very outgoing and love to laugh. My family is my foundation; they have helped me through trials I never imagined I would overcome. I value every day of this life I have been given to live.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I want to return to live with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ one day. I know that I am a child of God, and that He loves each of His children unconditionally. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and atoned for the sins of the world, and that I can be made clean through the repentance process. I know that the sacrifices I am asked to make are for a purpose. I know that my Father in Heaven hears and answers my prayers. I know that Joseph Smith received direct revelation from God to restore the true church in these latter days. I know that the Book of Mormon is the most correct book on this earth and that as you abide by its principles, God will testify of its truthfulness and you will come closer unto Christ. I know that as I submit to God's will, He will direct my paths. I know that as I live these principles, I will have the ability to return to my Father in Heaven and reside with Him, Jesus Christ, and my family for time and all eternity. I know that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ and that I am happy because I live it.

How I live my faith

I love to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ more than anything else. In the past, I have served in several teaching positions in my ward and have recently been called to serve as a full-time missionary in the Colorado Denver South mission. I look forward to sharing my testimony of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father every day for the next year and a half. I have such a strong testimony of the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I know that our Father in Heaven has given us these tools to guide us while here on Earth. I know that if we make right choices, we will have the ability to return to Him again one day.
