Hi I'm Steven

I love to be happy. I swim, ski, and play the penny whistle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six children. I love to swim and ski when I can. I was the Senior Class President at my high school and loved it. Recently, I've started playing the penny whistle. When I have time, I enjoy photography and Photoshop. I love being with my friends, cousins, and siblings. I love my family and this gospel more than anything else in this world. Everything that has given me real happiness has been from them.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both Mormon, so I was born and raised in the church. I would go to church because I went with my parents and would say my prayers because they told me to. Then one day I decided to find out for myself if this really was God's church. I prayed to my Heavenly Father and received an overwhelmingly calm feeling. I was at peace. I knew then, and I know now, that this His church. Ever since that day, I have done my best to obey His commandments and have felt the blessings from obedience. I testify that prayer works and that God is a God of miracles. Some of the most spiritual experiences of my life have been when I've been on my knees praying to my Father in heaven. Please, If you have not already, pray to Him and ask Him if this is the true church. He will answer you. He loves you.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a day-to-day process. Every day, I try to read The Book of Mormon, pray often, smile, be kind to others, serve as much as I can, and thank God for all I have. My favorite way to live my faith is by smiling and serving. Right now, I am serving a full-time mission in Samara, Russia for two years. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share the good news of the gospel with the people there.
