Hi I'm Joseph Furner

I grew up in Utah. I have been involved in choir, sports, and school. I love the church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

One of my favorite things to do is sing. I have participated in choirs since I was four years old, and I have also taken voice lessons. I love the gospel and I am about to leave on my mission. I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints since when I was eight years old. I enjoy school, and I plan on going on to study in engineering. I have been talented in math, and I would like to further that and other talents at Brigham Young University where I will be attending after my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I love this gospel, and I have been witnessed to and can testify that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and that Heavenly Father calls prophets to guid his church even in the later days. I know that it is through Christ's atonement that we will be able to return to live with Heavenly Father, and we can be exhaled even as he is. I know that there is a life after death, and I know that we are eternal. I know that the Holly Ghost is real, and that through baptism and conformation from the proper authority we can have him as our constant companion and guid.

How I live my faith

I participate in my ward by being a leader to those around me, by doing family history work, and by teaching and serving members of my ward.

Are Mormons Christians?

Joseph Furner
We are Christians because we believe that this is his church. Our entire religion is centered on him, and he is our redeemer, and our salvation. We build upon his gospel, and he is a sure foundation. Show more Show less
