Hi I'm Antony Jones

I am a convert to The Church of a Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I served in the Canada Toronto Mission.

About Me

I'm 24 years old and joined the church just 2 years ago. My conversion journey still continues today but in the beginning it was like a roller coaster, it was up and down all of the time. Now I'm more settled as my family have come to be more receptive of the gospel. I'm serving in the Canada Toronto Mission (October 2015 - 2017) I haven't been here too long but I LOVE MISSION LIFE. Something I have never experienced before but new experiences and when they take us out of our comfort zone. It helps us grow.

Why I am a Mormon

We have also been given such an amazing plan by our saviour Jesus Christ, the plan of salvation is crucial to my life and I know We have been I given an opportunity to be forgiven for our mistakes on earth as long as we recognise we need to repent. I take great comfort in knowing it’s okay not to be perfect as i'm not perfect but we need to have a peaceable walk, which is aligning our will with heavenly fathers and Jesus Christ’s will. I know this church is true, I know Joseph Smith was a Prophet called of god called to restore the true church to this earth so we all can have eternal salvation and to be able to live with our families for ever. I know we will face challenges in our lives, family lives, work lives and our callings in the church, but know that heavenly father wouldn’t give us a trail he knows we wouldn’t be able to overcome and that if we have trust and faith we will be able to overcome all challenges, trials and persecution. In this time please remember to pray for heavenly father’s council, this is one of the single most effective things we can do. I say these things in the name of our beloved saviour Jesus the Christ.

How I live my faith

I love this statement.... "How I live my faith" As it is a very soul searching and thought provoking question to think about. As I'm currently serving on my mission I depend on my faith to assist me in the work! I have faith that..... The Savior is preparing people for me to share his Gospel. I have faith I can do the work and that I'm qualified to do so. I have faith that the blessings which have been promised by the Savior shall be granted unto depending on my faith. Hope is the anchor to my sole. Hope leads us to faith and faith leads us to ACT... Right now I'm acting by serving my Savior and doing all I can to help others to "Come unto Christ".

What do Mormons believe about family?

Antony Jones
So we believe families are so important in our lives and that families can be together FOREVER. In the family homes you are able to learn and grow in the gospel with your family, you experience love, joy and many other feelings that the spirit wants us to feel. The way families can be together for ever is through temple ordinances performed is holy temples. It is critical that each of us know this and how we can be together for ever. When a family member dies we know this is part of the plan and it isn't up to us to decide when or how people leave us but with faith and trust the in the Lord we know this is meant to happen.
