Hi I'm Gayle

I am a widow, a mom, a grandmother and a great-grandmother. I love road trips, gardening, walking and reading and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a convert to the LDS faith. I joined the Church 31 years ago and I can't imagine my life without it. I have two adult children, 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. I love the time I spend with my family and the way they introduce me to new things. This year was snowshoeing. I love the outdoors and being physically active. I also love the quite times spent reading and learning. I really enjoy working around my home and I usually have some kind of renovation on the go.

Why I am a Mormon

I was first introduced to the Church following a fatal car accident that changed our family forever. Missionaries taught us about eternal families, that there is a living prophet on the earth today and that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored in its fullness. I am a Mormon because I know that these doctrines are true! Because of the happiness, the blessings and the peace that has come to me through living the gospel. Because of the miracles I have had in my life and because of the power of prayer. I know we are never alone as I have felt the strength of the Lord carry me in my most challenging and difficult times. Yes, our family did change forever, we are now an eternal family!

How I live my faith

I love to serve and help others. I have been given the opportunities to serve with the children, youth and the women of the Church. Presently, I am serving as the president of our women's organization. Daily I have opportunities to watch over and care for the physical and spiritual needs of our women. It has been the greatest learning experience as the women I serve teach me more than I teach them. I serve with ordinary women doing extraordinary things.
