Hi I'm Alex Hill

I grew up in Murray, Utah. I am serving in the Rancho Cucamonga mission - spanish speaking -

About Me

I race Go-Karts, play sports with my friends, and love to spend time with my family. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother, and 5 nieces and nephews. I will be attending University of Utah State after my mission is 2016, I plan to study computer programming and like most people... I want to be a filthy rich! Currently serving a mission in California, and loving it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. Well how do I know? James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." I asked of god if this church and gospel was true and I received my answer. I would invite you to pray to know if this is true and once you receive your answer, do it again whenever you feel doubtful. I know with all my heart this is true, I have seen the blessing from this gospel. I want you to feel this peace and joy I feel from this gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to everyone around me. I am also serving in a mission. It is hard to leave your family for 2 years but I know that I have a message that will bless other people. I try to be the best example I can be. You never know who is watching, setting an example is the best thing you can do for yourself and others around you.

What is faith?

Alex Hill
Faith is having a strong belief in something that we can not see but we know are true. I believe and know that God is my Heavenly Father and Jesus is my Savior even though I can't see them. One of my Favorite sayings is "Seeing isn't believing, Believing is seeing." When we do believe we begin to see the blessing in our lives, the gifts that we receive. "Faith in God is more than a theoretical belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, to have confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. It is a principle of action and power." Show more Show less
