Hi I'm Joy

I grew up in a little railroad town called "Cache Junction" I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of eight children and a grandmother of 22. I love spending time with family, reading and love to sing. I spent 20 years working for the US Postal service.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life. While growing up in the church taught me many things, we all need to be converted and gain our own testimony of Jesus Christ. I have felt the presence of my Savior, even as a young child. He has always been there for me when I call upon His name in prayer. As the trials of life come upon me, I have turned to Him and partaken of His comforting spirit. I know that we can pray to Him anytime, any place and anywhere.

How I live my faith

I have served in many callings in the church, and have worked with members of all ages. I loved working with them all. I love music and have been choir director for almost 8 years. I love Operas, Musicals and plays. I love most all music and grew up listening to classical, big band and American Bandstand. Several of my children and grandchildren are involved in plays and musicals and it is fun to watch them. I spend time going to grandkids soccer, T-ball, baseball, football and basket ball. This can keep me busy. I like to write poetry and short stories.
