Hi I'm Sharon

I grew up in Utah. I love to explore the world God gave me with my husband and baby boy. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, I am no one out of the ordinary, but I know life is worth living to the fullest! I love life, some of my favorite things I love to do are scuba diving, rock climbing, traveling anywhere and everywhere, snowboarding, ballroom dancing, wake boarding, hiking, target shooting, sewing and most importantly being with my husband and son. Not only am I a wife and a mother, but I am also a school teacher. What amazing experiences I have had in my life, but I couldn't do any of this with out the blessings of my Heavenly Father. Life isn't always perfect for me but my faith gives me hope that life will turn out the way it is suppose to as long as I do my part to make it the best life possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have prayed to know the truth and what God's plan is for me and this is the direction He has lead me to. I was born in the is faith, but as a young teenager my faith was challenged by a boy in my grade. So that is when I first asked if this Church was God's true and living church on the earth today. I didn't receive my answer right away, but I didn't see any bad living what my parents had taught me to be true, so I continued to participate in my faith. It wasn't until 7 years later that I received my answer. I was sitting in church when a young man was giving a talk and recited a scripture that touched my heart deeply. It reads: "But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than adesire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words." I know I had experimented on the words that my parents, teachers and the scriptures gave to me and I had a desire to believe. I let this desire work in me for 7 years and the words became apart of me and my whole soul knew at that moment that this is God's true and living church on the earth today. And this is why I am a Mormon. My faith and belief has only strengthened since then. God hears and answers prayers and He will hear and answer your prayers too. All you need is a desire to believe, ask God and He will help you find the truth. Just don't give up too easily if He doesn't answer right away:)

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I pray morning and night and in my heart through out the entire day. I study the scriptures and try to live a Christ-like life. In my church I am help teach a Sunday School class to the adults. Since I am one of the youngest in the class it can be very intimidating to teach people who probably know more than I do, but as I study and ask God for help and information, He helps me teach that class.
