Hi I'm Taylor

I am a student, a brother, a friend and a baseball player, and I Am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full-time student attending Brigham Young University in Provo. I am one of five kids and have thee best family in the whole world. I love being with my family and friends, and just talking and spending time with them. I love playing baseball, and it has been my passion since i was a child. I also love being outside in the great outdoors, but most of all, i love being with the people that mean the most to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because i chose to stay with the faith. Although i was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, my parents never forced me to go to church, or to have personal study and prayer. It has something that has always been a part of my life. I am a mormon because it makes me happy. I don't say this to brag, or to say that i have no trials or hard times, but to say that when the trials and hard times come- because they come to everyone- i have the hope that comes from the Atonement of Jesus Christ to hold on to. I know that Jesus Christ atoned not only for my sins, but for my weaknesses, my trials, and even for my sicknesses. And for that i will be eternally grateful. When i think about how hard it was for my Savior, how utterly alone he was, keeping his commandments and being obedient to his servants doesn't quite seem like such the large task.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best person that i possibly can be. I served a mission in Germany for two years of my life, although this did shape me into a better person, living my faith is still the most important thing i do each and everyday. I live my faith by continuing to learn and grow in the Gospel of Jesus Christ in that i study the scriptures, attend church and the temple, and try to do all things which my Savior would do. Being an example is the most important part as I am surrounded by people who are constantly watching me for who i am. I try, as Christ taught, to be that light upon a hilltop.
