Hi I'm Robyn

I live in Kansas. I work in an elementary school. I am a new mom. I am a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in California, moved to Florida for 3 years where I became a member of the church, got married and moved with my husband to Kansas when he joined the army. We have been here for 8 years and decided to make this our permanent home. I work as a para in an elementary school and am about to become a mom to a baby boy. In my spare time I like to read, scrapbook, explore, travel and cook.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I grew up as a Catholic, but was always curious about the Mormon church. When I was 27 years old I finally decided to learn about it and as I was taught by the missionaries I felt the spirit very strongly and knew the church was true. I knew also because I prayed about it. The missionaries and other church members encouraged me to pray to know it was true rather than just taking their word for it. That was another thing I liked...that the church members wanted me to gain a testimony for myself. I know that Heavenly Father loves me. I believe in Christ and am grateful to him for his atoning sacrifice for my sins. I know that this church is true and that we have a living prophet on earth today. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought many blessings into my life. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I try to attend church every week and I enjoy visiting other women in the ward. I pray daily for guidance from Heavenly Father and love reading and searching the scriptures. When given the opportunity to teach I take it because I love sharing what I believe and learning from others as well.
