Hi I'm Abbigal

I'm a convert to the LDS church and I love it with all my heart.

About Me

I'm a convert to this wonderful religion, it's changed my life in so many ways. I love playing soccer and hiking, or anything that brings me outdoors and closer to nature really. I love to paint and draw, I also love playing the bass as well, music is a passion of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

As a kid I had gone to a presbyterian church, but I fell away from that and became atheist. I was in the pits of hell and didn't believe in religion, I was very unhappy. I used to self harm and had been hospitalized twice for overdosing. My best friend had converted to this religion a while back and I was so much progress and such a difference from who she used to be, to who she is now. When the missionaries asked her about anyone who would be interested in learning about the gospel, she gave them my name. They messaged me and we met up, and progress took a long time to happen. Though with time I came to start to read, to pray, to go to church, to actually pray out loud (like in a lesson), and to believe. The day I told my best friend I wanted to get baptized she teared up and almost started crying during class. I love her dearly, and I love this church and have a strong testimony that it is the true church, the true religion, that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that Jesus Christ is our savior. And I say these things in the name of our savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

SInce I started to going to this church, I think I've only missed it twice, once for traveling and the other for being in the hospital. I have had so much depression and despair in my life, but through the gospel I have found joy in the loving care of our savior. Through prayer and scripture reading, as well as living to be perfected in the name of Jesus, I am glad to have been put on this earth and for the trials that I have and will face for enduring to the end is what will lead me to an eternity with our Heavenly Father.
