Hi I'm Kellie-jo

I grew up in Utah. I love to laugh, read and be outside. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending Utah State University to become an English teacher! I love to read just about any book, but I have a terrible habit of starting multiple books at one time. I love to be outside, and I especially love summer time. I love camping, swimming, hiking, four-wheeling etc. I like to crochet, watch movies with friends, and just have a good time. I have two older sisters and one younger brother. I love my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS family, however I have been blessed to gain a strong testimony for myself of the truthfulness of this church. I know without a single doubt that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's church upon the earth today. I have received assurance that the Book of Mormon is true, and it's teachings will lead and guide us to happiness and more importantly to our loving Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon not only because I know that it is the true church, but because I am comforted and peaceful when I am doing the things that are pleasing to my Heavenly Father. I can receive answers and personal revelation for myself when I go through hard trials. I have received the needed strength and reassurance that I am not alone, and that I am loved and a divine daughter of an almighty God who loves me. I am Mormon because I know my Redeemer lives. Through His restored Gospel I can know why I am here and what I need to do to return back to Him. I am a Mormon because it brings true happiness into my life that I know I could never find anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my ward every week and participating in activities like family home evening, visiting teaching, ward prayer and other activities put on my our ward. When I feel comfortable I try to share my testimony with those I meet in little ways. I love to talk about our Savior and His Gospel with other members, friends, family, and even those who are not of our faith. I love to read my scriptures and materials from the prophets and apostles. I try to serve those around me and keep Christ as the center of my life. I try to base all of my decisions around Jesus Christ and His plan for me. I try everyday to grow closer to Him through prayer.
