Hi I'm Cameron Hansen

I'm a ginger, I love technology and laughing, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like videogames and I love technology. I love hanging out and having fun and I'm willing to try most anything. I love the beauty of the outdoors and I love finding cool places. I played percussion for 6 years, my favorite thing to play being the marimba/xylophone. I'm a natural redhead and I love it! I love the church and I'm out serving a mission right now in Richmond Virginia to show people why.

Why I am a Mormon

There's a lot of different reasons to be Mormon. Mine is definitely because of the pure and simple fact that growing up as a mormon has kept me out of so much trouble and has helped me to dodge a lot of really bad situations. Families of the Mormon church that follow its principles have such a sense of happiness and kindness to their fellow man that it just rings truth. In my opinion, the happiest people I've ever seen have been those that are doing their best to follow the example of Jesus Christ and the commandments he's given us. There's nothing (in my opinion) that states that this church is true and that Jesus Christ is the Savior of us all more than the amount of happiness and unity that you can see in the people and the families of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by helping others understand exactly what it means to be "mormon". I do my best to follow in the example of Jesus Christ and I think that a lot of people don't really understand what that means. We don't follow Jesus Christ just because we know he freed us from sin and died so that we could live with our loving Heavenly Father again. We follow him because his example was the perfect example of how we can find pure happiness through following his teachings. Trying to be like him means we are willing to help even the most aggressive of people and we're willing to be as loving and forgiving as we can. The church is strong evidence that if we were all to live in such a way we would be more united than we could imagine. The Lifestyle is true. The Gospel is true.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Cameron Hansen
The missionaries are personal representatives of Jesus Christ, so of course they are going to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They teach how you can find an infinite source of happiness through following the commandments and following the steps to salvation (Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end) I know that what they teach is true and I know I've found a great amount of happiness serving as a missionary and being able to share what I've come to know is true and what I know can help all people get closer to not only the savior but also their personal relationships with all their friends and family and even with people in general. It is always worth listening to the missionaries and learning more about Heavenly Father's Plan for us. Show more Show less
