Hi I'm Maxwell

I grew up in Idaho. I am a current BYU student, a future missionary, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 6 feet 5 inches tall, but have never played basketball. I enjoy mountain biking, skiing, and pretty much everything outdoors. I am a current Civil Engineering major in BYU with the hopes of getting into Mechanical Engineering. I will be serving a mission soon in Tallahassee, Florida.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and was baptized when I was eight years old, but during my late teens I started losing my testimony. I still knew that the church was true, but I found it hard to really live my religion. I finally decided the summer between my junior and senior years of High School to find my testimony again. The process took awhile, but I have felt the tender mercies in my life has I have chosen to live the gospel. I am thankful to have the gospel in it fullness in my life, and I look forward to the time when I will serve a mission.

How I live my faith

Living my faith has become much more of a daily thing in my life as I have gotten older. I try my hardest to fulfill all the church callings that I have been given, but more importantly, I try to live my religion in all aspects of my life. An important quote that I try to live by is, "Have an attitude of service." I try my best to find those simple opportunities to help others. Even the simplest helping-hand can be the greatest amount of service needed at that moment.
