Hi I'm Andree

I live in Sweden. I am a software developer. I have a passion for swimming. I am a scientist, and I am a mormon

About Me

I am a 19 year old from Sweden. I love logics and therefore I studied science in school. I am very easily entertained when facing a problem which needs to be solved! I grew up on a horse farm and worked with horses and gardening. I love taking time for myself in the nature but also challenging myself with it. I am a child of 4. My brother and I are extremely close and worked side by side in most things. I recently moved to Stockholm for a fresh start, which blessed my life immensely. I love the Lord, my God and owe my everything to him. I am currently serving a mission in the north east of England.

Why I am a Mormon

I have seen the lord bless me in so many ways, and I have felt his love so strong that I can't deny his presence in my life nor the love he has for all of his children. Being a mormon gives me peace in my life, an understanding of why we are here on earth, and also a very solid foundation to build my life upon. The part of being a mormon that I love the most is our heavenly father. He is always there, he listens and he will always be the same. He is consistent. He loves us so much that he let his own son die for us, so that we can return to him after this life. Most of all, Jesus Christ help me develop myself to be the best father I one day can become.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living like Jesus Christ taught us to live. Examining his teachings and other peoples relationship with Jesus Christ helps me see how I should act and react to different scenarios. By doing so I learn more of how our Saviour would act. I follow the saying "What would Jesus do". It's not always the easiest but it helps me be a better person. Becoming a better man helps me share the joy from the gospel to the people around me - to share the light.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

To know if The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints (mormonism) is true, we need to see what it is based around. Our keystone - what keeps our church together - is the Book of Mormon. If that book is true, then "mormonism" is the true faith on earth and Joseph Smith was truly a prophet of God. Though, we cannot know by only focusing on logics and facts. We need to read it, ponder the message it brings and turn to the one we claim it is from - God. We ask God by praying to him and asking him. He will let us know through our feelings or our thoughts.
