Hi I'm Kemp Reweti

I'm a Maori, I'm a Father, I'm a husband and a son and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Masters of Arts degree in social sciences. I am recently married and am enjoying every bit of being a husband and father. I served what we call a full-time mission in New Caledonia and this helped fuel my passion for languages. I speak French, another language from the Melanesian people called lifou and my native language Maori and have studied Mandarin Chinese. I currently work at a university and am passionate about music. I recently started learning to play the harp after searching for years for right instrument to play.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it to be true. Each and every day the reality of my membership in the church reminds me of the great blessings that living the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring into your life. I am a Mormon because fundamentally I know the Church to which I belong has Jesus Christ at its head and that the teachings and doctrine that is taught within it is of him. I love being a Mormon and inviting others to learn about the amazing principles and teachings that the gospel has to offer. I'm a Mormon because it brings me great joy.

How I live my faith

My faith in Jesus Christ helps ground my life and guides me in everything that I do. I am an active member of my congregation and enjoying helping out where I can in such activities as musical evenings, or service projects in the community. I live my faith by endeavouring to be a good member of society, by treating others with kindness and following Christs golden rule of doing unto others as you would have them do unto you. I love reading scriptures such as the bible and the book of mormon and enjoying singing hymns and playing religious music.
