Hi I'm Tyehao

I grew up in Utah. I am a husband, father, Licensed Acupuncturist, speak Chinese and like international relations. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have many interests and hobbies in my life. Some the greatest interests and hobbies I have deal with Asia particularly China, Taiwan, and other Chinese communities around the world. From the time I was young, I practiced and continue to practice Chinese martial arts. I practice Shaolin Kung Fu and Yang style Tai Chi. I also love the Chinese language. I love studying and speaking the language. I grew up speaking only a little bit of Mandarin Chinese. It was only when I went on a mission speaking Mandarin Chinese that I learned more. Afterwards, I continued to study Chinese in college. I earned a degree in International Studies with a Chinese studies minor. I love everything international and learning about different cultures and countries. I also earned a Masters degree in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. I currently practice Chinese medicine. I am grateful for the opportunity to help people feel better using Chinese medicine. I also like international business, and currently have a side business with cousins in China doing international business. I love traveling to different countries especially Asian countries. I have a desire to help people in any capacity that I can. I would like to help people around the world and to serve the best that I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was baptized when I was eight years old. As I grew and matured in the gospel, my testimony of Jesus Christ, and the restoration of The Church of Jesus Christ grew and has been strengthened. I have felt the spirit touch my heart and I continue to feel those feelings each day. There is no particular time of my conversion. I feel that true conversion is a life time process. My conversion to the gospel continues to grow. The feelings that I get when I study or pray about the gospel I know that the Holy Ghost is telling me what is true. I have read, studied, and prayed about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and know that it is the word of God. Because I know that The Book of Mormon is true, I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I know that he did see God the Father and His son Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus Christ through Joseph Smith restored His church back on the earth with all the keys and authority to act in His name. Because of the feelings and the Holy Ghost letting me know that these things are true that is why I am a Mormon and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am truly grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and His Church. There are many opportunities within the Church to learn and to grow. The most important is to learn and to follow those things that are taught through living prophets so that we may all be able to return to a loving Heavenly Father and gain eternal life. Families are important within the Church. One of the greatest blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ is that of eternal families, being sealed as a family for time and all eternity. Knowing that I will be with my wife for time and all eternity brings great blessings and joy in my life. I know with all of my heart that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's true church. I love the gospel!

How I live my faith

The most important calling in my life is that of a husband and father. Those are eternal callings. I strive to teach my children through example, and how to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also strive to be an example to my wife and serve her each and every day. Currently at Church I have a couple of duties. I was asked at church to to be the garden coordinator. In our area we have a church garden. There are garden boxes that anyone can use to have a garden. I am responsible to coordinate the garden and assign the boxes to people. Another one of my duties at church is to help with the teaching and learning within church. I am responsible to help the teachers learn how to teach and provide instruction and training to them. I am part of a presidency that is responsible for the teaching in the church. The most important aspect of living my faith is striving to keep the commandments of the Lord. It is important to love the Lord and to love my neighbors. I strive to keep the standards of the Church and live in such a way that will bring happiness and joy. I also do the little things each day to increase my faith and build my testimony in Jesus Christ. I read and study the scriptures, pray individually and as a family, hold what we call family home evening which is special set apart time to spend with my family, attend my church meetings, attend the temple regularly, and strive to fulfill my duties. It is important to me to live my faith daily, and strive to become more Christlike each and everyday. It is important to me to live my faith and to show that I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I strive to serve others and to do my best each day.
