Hi I'm Colton Webb

I live in Utah, I'm 18, A Missionary, and a Mormon

About Me

My name is Colton Webb, I was born and raised here in Utah and have been a Mormon my whole life. I have recently been called as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to San Diego California ASL Speaking. I know God will help me as I teach the gospel even though i don't really know sign language. I can't wait to go out and preach to those who don't know of the gospel, because i think it is one of the most important thing in my life, and i can definitely see it change others peoples lives. I have a testimony of this Gospel and in my Savior Jesus Christ and his atonement and i can't wait to share it with other people and see them get excited about it like i am. 3 Nephi 5:13

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, and being in Utah there is a pretty good chance that you are going to be mormon. And for i time i think i was just lds because my parents are, but through time i started to gain a testimony for myself and i saw how much the gospel helps me in my everyday life. I love knowing that i always have someone to talk to, someone who is always willing to listen and can help me through anything. I love the comfort i feel when i think about being with my family forever, I love having the Holy Ghost with me and helping me focus on doing what is right. Being a member of the church is who i am, its the most important thing I've done and It makes me feel great just knowing all of the blessings i am promised

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith everyday by regular prayer and scripture study, even though I may not study everyday... I strongly believe that the best way to show your testimony is to live it, let people know that you are a disciple of Jesus Christ and that you aren't ashamed of his gospel. And just overall being an example to others and not being afraid to talk about you're beliefs. As well as having regular church attendance and what not

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Colton Webb
We strongly believe that our Lord Jesus Christ, is a merciful God. If we can only be saved by the waters of baptism (John 3:5) how can someone who has never heard of the gospel enter into the Kingdom of God? God will give every man a chance to receive the gospel, either on this life, or the next. That is why we preform baptisms for the dead, to give hope to those who passed before being able to accept the gospel of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
