Hi I'm Maddie

I'm a full-time missionary called to serve in Russia. I love learning, modern dance, music and bare feet. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah, and loved living here with our gorgeous mountains, which I love to make use of skiing on our amazing powder! My family is my world. My closest friends, my lovely little sis and most importantly parents have helped me so much to aim high and reach my goals! I loved attending school back east, and will miss it as I serve my mission in Russia! I love to travel and take in all the lessons other people can teach me. Good weather, good music, and good stories are always welcome in my day.

Why I am a Mormon

Hope. Hope that I can be better than I am through Christ. Hope that he can soften my pain and the pain of others. The knowledge that He understands what I have been through, and that I can humble myself and get on my knees and ask a Heavenly Father who loves me for whatever I stand in need of. Hope that I can live again with the people I love and continue to improve myself and grow throughout the eternities. Hope is a beautiful promise, and the only complete and total hope I have ever found on this earth, I have found in the Lord's plan as explained in the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. This gospel pushes me to be a better person, but it also has taught me that this life is a learning process. Mistakes and weaknesses are bound to come up, but this church has shown me that it is what I do after which defines me--how I push forward and improve my weaknesses, so they can become strong in Christ.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm living my faith more than ever as I prepare to serve a full time mission for the church! I cannot wait to become an ambassador of the Lord! But most of the time, I live my faith in much smaller ways. Whether it be saying no, or answering questions willingly about the church, I try to be a good example of someone who is loving and accepting of others without compromising my own beliefs. I firmly believe that tolerance and love it what changes peoples hearts, and truly shows them what us Mormons are about!
