Hi I'm Sadie

I Irish Step Dance. I'm serving in the Washington Kennewick Mission starting in July. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished my first semester of college! I'm currently preparing to serve for 18 months in the Washington Kennewick Mission. I've been a Type 1 Juvenile Diabetic for 15 years come July. I Irish Step Dance competitively and have been doing that since I was 5 years old. I love to read, write, and swim. I love and appreciate art. I love to hike and enjoy nature around my area.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I've never doubted the things I've been taught and learned of my own accord. I know that this gospel is true and that Jesus Christ is my Savior and lived, loved, and died for me. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. There is such an incredible feeling I get when I read it that I can't get from reading anything else. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and is always there for me, especially when times are trying. I know that He has a specific purpose for me in mind and that I am where I am today because of Him. I don't know what my life would be like without the gospel and I'm glad I won't have to find out. I can't wait to share the gospel with others and help them come to know of God's love for each and every one of them.

How I live my faith

I was just called this morning to serve as a primary teacher. I'm teaching the nine-year-olds and one of them just happens to be my cousin. I've only taught one class so far but I've loved every minute and can't wait to continue to teach these kids. This is going to be great practice teaching for when I head out into the mission field, which I'm equally as excited for.
