Hi I'm Joel

International taco advocate. 6'8" 230 lbs I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an outdoors kind of guy, whether its mountain biking or snow skiing, you will find me doing it. I love standing on the top of mountains and looking out at the world, it allows me to gain an important perspective on my life. I hail from a small farming community In California. No beaches no palm trees just tractors and almonds. Unfortunately I have an inner hipster, I believe it comes from being tall. None of my pants have ever been long enough, so I just started pretending it was on purpose. But Its all good. I am currently serving a full time mission. Again. The first time I came out I tore my acl, so I'm giving it another shot. I am in the Twin Falls Idaho Mission, and I love it. When I was home having surgery I reapplied to BYU Provo and got in. So I am looking forward to going to college when I am back. One time I had a steak so good It brought me to tears. #noshame

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church, I was baptized when I was 8 years old. Eventually I had to gain a testimony for my self. I had to work and find out if this church was true. So I started to study the scriptures and I prayed. Eventually I was able to enter the temple. With all of this things working together and a grace from God, I received my answer. I know that this Is Jesus Christ's church once again establish on the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best that I can. Since I have been blessed with the knowledge of Jesus Christ I realized, It was my duty to follow his example. Following his example to me is to have Charity, or the pure love of Christ. Having charity in my life is incredible, It has expanded my capacity to love those around me, and has brought me joy in my life that I never thought I could feel. The atonement is real Amen.
