Hi I'm McKenzie

Called to serve in the Los Angeles California Mission, Spanish speaking, leaving September 3rd. I am a mormon.

About Me

A couple things about me, I attend Utah Valley University where I am seeking a Bachelors degree in Communications. I am chasing after my dream of becoming a Master Esthetician. I have been called to serve in the Los Angeles California Mission, spanish speaking, and I report to the Mexico MTC on September 3rd 2014. I am an avid reader and love to be surrounded by friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a daughter of God and I have seen many blessings and miracles occur each time I live the commandments, attend church, pray daily, pay my tithing, and study my scriptures. I am such a testimony of the Lords timing and the blessings that I receive from paying my tithing. His timing is undeniably perfect. I feel his love each time I get on my knees to pray and strengthen my relationship with him and study the Book of Mormon. Being a mormon gives me purpose, peace, and pure joy. There is nothing more pure in this entire world than the Gospel, this I know to be true.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings every Sunday and I go visiting teaching once a month. I love attending church to be able to learn of our Savior Jesus Christ and feel the spirit. I love to go visiting teaching because it helps the girls to feel loved and cared for, also I get to catch up on their lives when life gets so busy.

What is faith?

McKenzie
Faith is to "hope for things which are not see, which are true". Alma 32:21 and Hebrews 11:1. To have faith in our Savior Jesus Chirst and our Father in Heaven we must trust him, have confidence in him, and be willing to act on our belief in him. It is an action that has great power.
